Konkuk University, KU:L House
   Opened in August 2008, KU:L House is a modern, on-campus housing facility, which is the first of its kind among Korean universities that was built by private capital attraction in a BTO(Build, Transfer and Operation) system. Standing for “Dormitory like a hotel,” KU:L House provides comfortable and convenient facilities with a total of 1,091 rooms, an accommodation of 2,034. As an annex of KU:L House, Education & Training Center, a remodeled building from an existing building, offers an educational place with 23 large and small-size lecture rooms, seminar rooms and operation rooms with an easy traffic access and an affordable price.
 
National Youth Center of Korea
 
National Youth Center of Korea was opened on August 15th, 2001 amid the support and expectations of youths. The achievement of the Center's opening had taken ten years since the government's announcement of "Youth Basic Plan in Korea" ('91). The Center was established by the government to function on behalf of the nation with regard to youth training activities. It is to take on tasks that are difficult for the private sector such as youth leadership training, demonstration of youth training activities, development and distribution of training programs, network building and information sharing among training facilities, international interchange activities, and providing support for nation-wide youth training activities. The National Youth Center is located amid the nature of Cheonan, a city well known for its patriotism and loyalty, where the Independence Memorial Hall stands in harmony with the forest and hill-side at the foot of Heukseong Mountain. Fully equipped with a various range of cultural and sports facilities, and outdoor facilities for training youths and youth leaders, it functions as the foremost center providing leading training techniques and facilities for the youth of the nation.
